But now we’ve got to explain RNA. And enzymes.

We’ll go easy on them.

RNA is a little intimidating, I know.

Yeah, the appearance of RNA in this story makes the reader worry, “Uh-oh, they’re about to lose me in physics and biochemistry!!”
